FAQs Parents

A parent can go to www.way2pay.org and login using their username and password, OR A parent can click the link in the payment request text sent by the school, Your username is your mobile number in international format eg. 353831234567

In order to keep things as simple as possible for busy parents, the school provide us with their parent’s details and we set you up - you will not need to register with Way2Pay. The school will create their activity bills and send out a text message to parents when ready. This text contains a link-to-pay your child’s bill(s). All you need to do is wait to receive a text message from the school with a link to pay your child’s bill. Please contact the school directly if you are concerned they have not included you on a bill that is due.

  1. Click the Forgot your password link on the login box.
  2. Enter your Username (typically your mobile number in international format).
  3. You will receive an SMS with a link to reset your password. Click on this link.
  4. Confirm your username (type it in as above).
  5. Enter your new password. For password format requirements please see below.

You should receive an SMS or email within a few minutes of requesting a password reset link. If you don’t receive one, you may not be registered on our system. You will know if you are registered if you have previously received a payment request SMS from the school. Please note only one primary parent mobile number will receive the payment request SMS per student and this is the number which must be used as a username to login. If you are still unsure, please check with the school to confirm which mobile they have set up for your child or try another parent mobile the school may have used.

Your password must meet the following conditions:

  1. At least 7 characters.
  2. At least one CAPITAL Letter.
  3. At least on NUMBER.
  4. It must be different than one your have used previously on Way2Pay.

  1. Choose which activity bill you would like to pay. Select Yes to pick the bill you wish to pay in the “Pay Now?” column.
  2. To make a part-payment that is less than the total amount, change the figure in the Balance box on the right.
  3. The Total amount for payment is displayed below the bill list and will update when you make changes to the Balance.
  4. Once you are happy you have selected the bill(s) you wish to pay, and have decided on the amounts you are paying, please click on the T&Cs, give permission for your child to participate in the activity.
  5. Next click Pay by card online button. You can then enter your card details on the secure online banking provider page.
  6. Once the payment has been completed, you will see confirmation onscreen and you will receive an SMS receipt.
  7. You may also view and print a detailed report on your Payment History from your Parent dashboard.

Payments links can only be used a handful of times before they expire, however you can easily request a new SMS payment link. Go to www.way2pay.org and click on the Make a Payment button. Enter your mobile number in international format. You will be sent a new SMS with a payment link.

Way2Pay gives parents to option to pay in instalments. Parents can edit the amount to pay before clicking the plus sign on the parent’s dashboard. They will agree to the terms and conditions and give permission for their child to participate and click ‘Pay Now’. The total is displayed before confirming payment.

Tokenisation of Credit cards with Authipay

Why?

Make paying online even swifter by choosing to tokenise your card details. Instead of entering your card details every time you want to pay a school bill, you can choose to save your card details so they are prepopulated in the credit card form.

How does it work?

On the billing page T&C, there is an optional selection to allow Way2Pay to tokenise your credit card details. Way2Pay create and save a personalised token linked to your mobile number. We do not save your card details on the Way2Pay system. You will always be asked to enter 1) the name on your credit card and 2) the 3-digit security number on the back of your card, with the card number and expiry date automatically populated by the bank. All card transactions are performed by a secure banking provider.

Where?

When you click Pay-By-Card Online, Authipay will retrieve your credit card details from their secure banking system and confirm them with the card name and 3-digit security number you entered. You can then simply click Pay Now!

Still not sure?

Leave the box unchecked for tokenisation and you can enter your credit card details on the Authipay secure banking page each time you pay your school bill(s).

  1. On the activity bill list page, you need to tick the option to tokenise your card details.
  2. Proceed to the payment provider page by clicking Pay by card online.
  3. The card details from will be populated by the bank with your current card number. Click on the Update button.
  4. Enter your new card details and click Save to save the new card details with the bank.
  5. Enter your new password. For password format requirements please see below.
*Please note that some card details may be stored on your mobile device/laptop, and the device may be prepopulating the form.

You can view your most recent payments on your parent dashboard when logged in. You can select My Payment History to view older payments and print off a receipt.

Conveniently, a parent only requires one Way2Pay user account to manage all your school activity bills, so you can pay activity bills for siblings in one or more schools using the Way2Pay system. Any school linked to your parent mobile number, will be included in the school list dropdown, so you can switch between schools to view and pay bills.
