ESSENTIAL FOR THE WORKPLACE! Under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, there is a requirement on employers based on a Risk assessment to have sufficient numbers of First Aid Responders trained and deployed in their workplace. All early Childcare settings are obliged to have a FAR trained First Aider on site. This is a comprehensive 3 Day PHECC Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Course is designed to meet the first aid and basic life support (BLS) requirements that a First Aid Responder may encounter. In addition to CFR skills, the First Aid Responder possesses defined skills in the further management of a patient who has become suddenly ill or injured in the pre-hospital environment until the arrival of emergency medical services. On successful completion of the course and the assessment, participants will be presented with a PHECC First Aid Responder certificate, which is valid for 2 years.
